Inclement Weather Reminder
With upcoming winter weather potential we wanted to send a reminder about the closing procedures at TKS.
Closings, delays, and early releases due to inclement weather are posted on the Procare app, TKS's Facebook and Instagram sites in addition to KNWA and 40/29 news outlets.
Both local and regional weather conditions impact TKS staffing, as faculty is drawn from a broad regional geographic area. Staffing availability and projected attendance numbers are used to determine TKS's operations status.
Inclement Weather Reminder
Due to a spike in illnesses within our community, we wanted to send out a friendly reminder of our illness policy. If one of the illnesses below are in your child's classroom, we will place an illness notification on your child's classroom door. This notification will inform you about the illness and symptoms to be on the lookout for.
If you think your child is sick, please keep them home until they have been cleared by a doctor or are 24 hours symptom free. Thank you for your cooperation as we navigate through this sick season.
How is TKS helping slow the spread within our facility?
We disinfect all hard surfaces daily with Clorox wipes and Persue (a disinfectant spray), clean toys in the washer and dishwasher, and mop with disinfectant. We complete these cleaning tasks during the following times:
opening/closing
nap times
meal times
Additionally, a professional cleaning crew comes in after hours for extra cleaning and disinfecting within our facility. Our most recent scheduled sanitization with our crew was this weekend.
